Sharon joins Ascend from Harman International (“Harman”) where she has worked since successfully selling the assets of PhatNoise, Inc., an Ascend Ventures, L.P. portfolio company, to Harman in 2005.  Prior to joining PhatNoise shortly after inception, Sharon had more than 15 years of experience in the investment and finance industry.  She previously served as a Principal at the boutique merchant-banking firm Metier Capital Group where she helped architect private and public equity investments for Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and GEICO Insurance, as well as develop capital and business strategies for global financial services firms, entertainment industry clients, and smaller companies.  She also worked as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Sharon currently serves as a director of Printroom.com, Inc., and is an observer to SalesEdge, Inc.  Sharon received a B.S. with distinction in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
